My life as a pretzel

Today's yoga workout was challenging.  Afterwards I could feel it in my calves big time, so it will be interesting to see if I can walk tomorrow.

I actually did this pose.  (Thank you SnapZ for allowing me to take screenshots of videos)  Of course, I didn't have the helpful leader Rebecca holding my form, but I think I managed.

It's side angle pose (with arms binded) but I think it should be called pretzel pose. Yogis eat pretzels, do they not?

It has now been 23 days since I started trying to bring yoga into my daily routine. I have done 9 sessions, so that is one every three days - not bad.  I know that part of living with CRPS is that I have to adjust my goals to what makes sense for me - not what makes sense for what I 'used to' be able to do.  So, yay for me. I'm going continue to add more biking, more fibromyalgia swim class, and more yoga to my weekly routine.

Finally, after two months of trial and error, I think I am closer to having a good daily routine that has me able to meet my health needs and have a more balanced life.

Namaste.  The Divine in me salutes the Divine in you.  The Christ in me greets the Christ in you.
