Blue tongue gecko

Tara & I were surprised by this little guy on our walk. I jumped & scared both Tara & the gecko. Then she says, "Oh, it's just a gecko."

JUST??

By the time I got my camera out, he was safely off the path. Then a groundskeeper came along & talked to us for a while. She tried to get him to open his mouth so we could see his pretty pink mouth & blue tongue, but he was done showing off by then.
