FINALLY Leaving on a jet plane!

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go ....

Well, I'm almost ready to go. I forgot to pack a sweater and sunglasses. I will happily buy shades once I get to Perth, and I'm sure Tara can lend me a sweater.

The only other thing I forgot to do before I left my apartment was feed the cats.  Oops! They are just missing one meal, but I'm pretty sure they are going to attack Dana when she walks through the door tonight.

It's my lucky day - my big suitcase was just under 50 lbs so I didn't even have to pay Westjet for extra heavy luggage, hooray!

So, off to Calgary in less than an hour, then to Vancouver tonight.  I'm staying at the Peatfields' tonight in North Van. Once I get to Vancouver I get to figure out how to take the sky train and the sea bus to the north shore, and then Katie and her parents will meet me there.

I had a small panic attack when I realized that I was leaving my home for 44 days.
I can't believe I'm going to be on the other side of the planet in just a few days!

Eek!
