Today is a bad day. RSD pain levels high & full body Fibromyalgia pain.
But I decided that today is the best "bad day" I've had. It's all a matter of perspective, right? (Thank you, Rose & Ernest, for teaching this to me)
~ First bad day in 12 days: a new record
~ Was able to sleep despite all symptoms
~ Accepted it without fighting it & I'm ok with the idea that tomorrow might be a rest day, too.
I KNOW my health is improving here.
The meditation I'm trying to so every day helps a lot. My sleep is more restful.
And I think this is all due to attitude.
I was asked today if I was suffering. And I honestly answered, No. Im in pain, but I'm not suffering.
Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
I praise my Creator for my good bad day!

What a good reminder. Yesterday was a "good bad day" for me as well. My son was puking because of the stomach flu. I ended up taking him to emergency to help him retain some fluids. But I saw God's merices throughout the day. I praise God we have an hospital so close to our home. I praise God our house guest was able to watch our daughter while my husband arranged for a sub. I praise God for a two hour nap while my husband stayed home.
A good bad day, like you said.
Yes, suffering through whatever bad we are experience is indeed a choice. There will be bad days and when we turn them over to God, they will still be bad, but God will get us through them.
