I am a chronic babe

I am following the Chronic Babe posts and podcasts.  All super motivating stuff.

This week I am concentrating on the following, thanks to Jenni, the Editrix and some research I've done on foods to avoid with FMS.

Everything I eat will affect how I feel and my health tomorrow.
So even a small change, like having green tea instead of that second cup of coffee, is a step towards better health.

It takes three weeks for something to become a habit.
I cut out all pop two weeks ago.  Last week's cravings were intense, but just one more week and hopefully I won't miss coke at all. Cutting out sugar has been very hard, I've managed to cut out all artificial sweeteners (yay!).  And ... setting a routine and exercising (which hurts so much!) every day will become enjoyable if I keep at it for three weeks. Eventually I will get to the point where my body wants to exercise (something I remember feeling when I was a runner in my early 20's). That will be a super major accomplishment.

I can do it, if I plan ahead.
'nuff said.

No success is too small to celebrate.
Writing them down helps me recognize my accomplishment.

When I wake up in the morning and feel like absolute crap, I need to remember that FMS is usually worse in the morning, and if I keep moving, I will feel better.  This is a tough one.
Just keep moving, just keep moving, moving, moving ....

I am a chronic babe. I will keep on being a Babe, even with chronic illness.
