Using the PainTracker app on my iPhone, I made a summary report of the last two months. And great news! My average daily pain levels have decreased from above 6 to below 6 (this is the first time EVER that I've had numerous weeks at 6 or below) and my use of breakthrough pain pulls has decreased A LOT.
This is FANTASTIC news!
Effective treatments:
~~surprisingly, distraction & time with friends was #1.
~~I've also started listening to a one hour pain management hypnosis CD every day. And it is helping. I feel a lot more positive & a lot more in control. The CD says it helps even if you fall asleep during the session, which is good because I fall asleep at least half the time!
New Goals:
~~Kefir yogurt & coconut oil daily
~~See an Australian naturopath for some new insight
~~Get back into yoga & painting daily
