Rosemary attempt ... Again

I am determined to figure out how to get a Rosemary plant to survive in my yard. If my BFF can grow a healthy one in concrete at the end of her driveway, surely I can figure out how to not kill one in a real garden??? So far, six have been sacrificed. My husband now uses the phrase "gone rosemary" to refer to anything that has died. My hopes is that an australian autumn will be kind enough to the plant that it will be well established when the weather truly gets crazy hot again. In the meantime - I better do some research & figure out when I'm supposed to repot my canna lilies and how to keep my fuschias alive.

Gardening successfully in Australia is definitely a "learn from your mistakes" ... A steep learning curve where very little that worked in Saskatchewan clay works here in Western Australia desert.

I think succulents are going to be my new favourite plants. 😊
