For the past two weeks we have worked on creating drawings using chalk pastels, how to take a 3D "still life" scene and recreate it on a 2D plane. Students worked with breaking difficult shapes into easier ones, and using negative space to create contour lines. I must say, it's great to see how much they have grasped in 3 short weeks!
