because it felt like none of my body could move. However, the whole time I was drawing, I was totally engrossed in what I was doing. All the screaming muscles were silenced. I felt like someone had pushed the "mute" button on all my pain and stiffness. It worked for about an hour - before I started I thought I wouldn't even last ten minutes.Wow!

It also helped that I had two very, very accomodating models. :) Motif moved three times (see my first drawing) before settling down into the same sleeping pose, so I drew that pose again larger (drawing two.) Benny must have sensed that Motif

was getting all the attention, because he then appeared out of no where and settled down right in front of me. I was able to get the lines of his body correctly drawn, thanks to starting by drawing the line of his spine and making sure everything was in correct proportion to it.
The whole idea of this study was to not draw in traditional forms to "reveal more about a creatures build, articulation, character, behaviour and so on."
So what can you tell from my pictures about my cats' behaviour? lol ...
