What a great surprise!

For the past few weeks, on my daily walk, I have been admiring the gray and pink galahs that feed on the neighbors lawn a block away.

I drove home today to find 11 of them on my front lawn! They usually fly away whenever I walk past them, so I drove very very slowly into the driveway and took these pictures from inside the car. I hope whatever it was that they were eating in the rain will keep them coming back to our yard. It was such a nice surprise, totally made my day.
